Breaking the silence...

My boys just started busting up while watching Border Wars. They had just gotten scolded and were really quiet then the tv says "... below Chihuahua..." and they started laughing hysterically. I guess it was a had-to-be-there moment.

Well it made me laugh, at least (:

Happy Halloween ::coughcough::

Happy Halloween everyone!

As most people with children are getting ready to get costumes on, have dinner, and go trick or treating, in no particular order, my clan is planning a slightly different night. My littlest Braxton and I are sick, Zander has to be hooked up to his feeding pump all night so pushing the pole down the road would be slightly awkward, and since I don't let my kids eat but one piece of candy ever anyway, we are going to eat dinner, then get costumes on and hand out candy to the other kids and watch movies. Weirdly, this sounds like an awesome night to me with my lil men. Especially cause daddy isn't here to join us /:

Hope you all have a fun and safe Halloween!

A little girl time amongst the testosterone.

My life is full of boys and men, so tonight I stole away for some girl time with my best, Holley. Went for a long walk, lol, and ate with the best conversations ever.
Sitting here, watching Eat. Pray. Love., and we talk about our lives and all the things we want to do, laughing, hoping, recalling memories. It's always the best time with Holley. I can be my most real self around her.

When we are old we will be doing the same thing (:

It's like a face lift. Your throat will look amazing!

Atreversiamo!

Til next time,

A simple thought

     As I sit here and watch Braxton interacting with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I realize that there's absolutely nothing that can really bring me down in life. With that being said, as a mom of three extremely active boys, I am entitled to those days where I want to scream and laugh at the same time. Yesterday was one of those days. Since my husband works out of town quite often, a lot of time its me and the lil rascals.

     Today is picture day at school so yesterday evening I drug all the little men to the mall to our usual hair cutting spot. And I can't even begin to say how embarrassingly horrendous my kids were being in a packed salon. I kept my cool but the second we got back to the car and let out a scream, my boys knew they were in trouble. Now, I am entitled to have days like this, more than entitled actually. But, as shocked by the shriek as my boys were, the next second they were giggling and mocking me. And all I could do was join in on their laughs. I love my boys more than life itself, even when they are sliding on their tummys across the mall floor, and they never fail to remind me of just that.

Xoxo A mom giggling,
