Just Ten Years Ago....

When I sit here and think back to what I was doing ten years ago, it makes me laugh to the point of snorting, for the simple fact of what I thought life in the future would be like. Ten years ago I was only 16. I was and still am extremely outgoing, carefree, and dancing to the beat of my own damn band.
I am the only girl in my family with an older brother and a younger brother so it's safe to say I was pretty Tom boy-ish. And at 16 I think I was just transitioning from "oh wow I think she's lesbian" to "did you see who looked like a girl today?". But I didn't care what anyone thought about me and I enjoyed coming into my own and never being a follower.
Thinking bout how fun life would be in college with parties and college girlfriends to talk about horror dates with... Oh how naive I was, haha! And I thought I had it all figured out!
