Now I lay them in their beds.
Blankets high, kiss their heads.
Blessed with life and so aware.
Innocent curiosity fills the air.
Smiley faces put a smile on mine.
Who deserves a life this divine?
Wake up every morning new ideas on their minds.
So captured by wonder at what they will find.
Keep safe my lil babies, safe as they sleep.
For their souls you may have but their hearts I will keep.
